Dec 03, 2009 · I am using Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.9.01.0180 I have imported the connection file from my Windows VPN client. When i 'connect', i am prompted to enter my password/username as normal (Although i never normally need to enter the info twice) however, i get as far as 'Securing Communication Channels' and that's where it stops.

When I got my Mac Pro last year, the Cisco VPN client kept causing it to kernel panic. I had to wait until cisco released a new version about a month later and all was ok. My recommendation is that if you need to use the Cisco VPN client, wait a month or so for Cisco to release a stable version for Leopard before installing Leopard.
